With 6858 feet of waterfront at Lake Sammermish State Park there's plenty of recreation to be had for everyone of all ages including boating, swimming, freshwater fishing and water skiing. Enjoy the scenery or do some bird watching near the aquatic center.

Living

There are technical institutes for training in specific careers such as nursing or automotive.

With a handful of hospitals for everyone to go to when in need of health care, the city of Sammamish delivers on the health care provided around town.

With Overlake Transit Center and the Bellevue Transit Center there is plenty of transportation provided for those who live amongst the Sammamish real estate. King County has a park and ride and there is a speed shuttle for those arriving and leaving the airport. Limo services are also offered. Outside of public transportation, residents use their own cars to get around along with walking, hiking and bike riding.
