Getting the right advice
So you've finally decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and buy your own home. How exciting! You will finally have a place to call your own and the power to make your own home improvements and renovations. A home may also be an important way for you to grow financially.
Whatever your reasons for buying, whether it's your first home or your fifth, know that finding the right home, in the perfect neighborhood and at a price that is within your budget, is no small task. Buying a home is the biggest financial decision most people make in their life. It's no wonder roughly 90% of those involved in a real estate transaction choose the services of a qualified real estate agent. After all, if you were making any other investment decision which involved hundreds of thousands of dollars, wouldn't you seek the help of a qualified professional advisor or consultant?
You may feel the excitement fade when you discover the steps it takes to become a homeowner. Its true that it can be challenging. Youll have to deal with lots of different people along the way and youre bound to have lots of questions: What should I be asking my real estate agent or my lender? What is the difference between an appraisal and an inspection report? Can I add renovation costs to my mortgage? And, where can I find objective information?
This is where agent buyer representation comes in. I take a very thorough, systematic approach to the home buying process. Starting with my Home Buyer Profile, which is available in a link on the drop down menu to the left, and after a Q & A period, I will "get out ahead of you" and preview all available, qualified properties. That will allow me to show you the best available, thus streamlining the process of purchasing the right home for you at the best possible price and terms. I have an in-depth knowledge of our local market, so I'm here to answer your questions, provide advise and assurance and help you through the process to buying your home. For more information or contact me and I'll help you get started.
