Not all real estate agents are Realtors. Realtors are due paying members of the National, Sate and Local Board of Realtors. They are subject to a Standard of Practice and a Code of Ethics. Only Realtors may hold the designations outlined below. You can be sure when you use a Realtor, you are dealing with a person of integrity. Look for the big 'R' logo on their business card. I also personally serve on the 2010 Seattle-King County Association of Realtors Professional Standards and Grievance Committee.
Less than 4% of all Realtors nationwide have the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist Designation. Minimum standards of experience and education are required to obtain this designation. Working with a Realtor who holds this designation assures you that you are working with a person of experience, expertise and knowledge. And a person who gets results. A CRS to real estate is like an MA to education.
Holding the designation of Accredited Buyer Representative gives me the knowledge to know what buyers look for and expect in a home and from the seller. Not all these expectations are in the Sellers best interest. Having this knowledge allows me the ability to negotiate aggressively on your behalf. Protecting your best interest, both legally and financially.
